Tour de Fleece Part 2

Filed under: Uncategorized — alcohen @ 4:56 pm

I’ve been spinning away! I finished the plying on the Loop batt.
I’ve got about 300 yards total. The plying/spinning isn’t super even, but it comes out to about a DK weight http://www.truba.gov.tr/harit/indian-viagra-tablets.html.
I love the way it came out! I’ll probably end up making a shawlette (possibly Multnomah) with it. The chain-plying makes it stripe, so I think it will come out really pretty.

I’ll update more when I’m done with my next batt (a gorgeous red/pink BFL).

Tour de Fleece Part 1

Filed under: Uncategorized — alcohen @ 11:10 pm

I know, I know, I haven’t posted in over six months. Whoops.

Anyway, a lot has been going on. I’ve been doing well at my 12 large-scale projects in 12 months thing. And now I’m tackling the Tour de Fleece.

I don’t get much time to spin, but today after work (yes, I worked on the holiday) I spent about an hour plying. I’m not entirely sure what this is, but it’s spun from a Loop batt and it’s sparkly, so I love it. I’m Navajo plying it (this is my first time, so it’s probably a little uneven).

I’ve got a bit more to do on that, but I’ll finish it tomorrow. I’ll try to keep an update on all my spinning during the Tour de Fleece!
